THE BROOKINGS ARMORY

THE BROOKINGS ARMORY •

Over 85 years ago, The Brookings Armory was built by humble people with humble materials. Its rich history is full of memories about service, connection, and community. Soon, we'll honor its history by bringing a new, unique experience to downtown Brookings.

The reimagined Brookings Armory will be a vibrant entertainment and hospitality development that not only brings people downtown but invites them to stay and create new memories. Annexed to the renovated Armory, guests will be able to stay at the new Hotel Indigo, a boutique-style hotel from IHG Hotels & Resorts.

Hotel Indigo celebrates the tastes and traditions of the communities they're a part of, and works to make a positive impact on them in return.

The Armory will introduce two new experiences for its guests and the Brookings community.

Limited-access tasting room and reservable bar located on the top floor of Hotel Indigo.
Locally-sourced, elevated Midwestern dining located on the lower-level of The Armory.

“The goal is for The Armory to represent the essence of the community–humble pioneers building with humble materials–and then to create an experience of surprise and delight.”

“The Armory’s best use is to drive additional folks downtown, and to make sure that it continues to be a vibrant place in the future.”
